Agriculture Development
Mosaic under its agricultural CSR activities in India trains local farmers for better soil nutrient management and optimal water management, which helps in improving farm productivity. Farmers have witnessed up to 35% increase in yield by adopting these agricultural practices. We have focused to bring in modern irrigation technique like micro irrigation, which has covered over 149 hectares of land so far.
Education
Education the third area in which the program is focused & has funded renovation of 30 schools and its infrastructure including sanitation, drinking water and play grounds. This intervention has directly resulted in 25% increase in girl child enrolment and has benefited more than 8000 students.
Water Management
Our efforts have been to improve the agriculture condition by constructing check-dams in the water scant villages. These check-dams have helped store water & use it for expanding crop acreages & improving yield. In partnership with the local community, we have constructed 14 check dams which has helped in harvesting over 30 million gallons of rain water annually.
Rewards & Recognition
We mark the 15 glorious years of Krishi Jyoti. The journey, which began in 2008 with just one village,has reached more than 180 towns by 2023, improving the lives of 1,60,000 farmers.
