Objective:
▪ To recognize, incentivize and award a doctoral student of truly exceptional ability and originality of thought and contribution in the field of Plant Nutrition.
▪ To build linkages with Indian scientific community who champion in promoting balanced crop nutrition.
Nature of the Award:
Cash prize (Rs. 30,0000), Gold Medal & Trophy); instituted by the Mosaic Company Foundation, This award is meant exclusively for doctoral thesis related to agricultural sciences from any Indian Institutions.
Eligibility for the 2025 Award:
▪ 2025 Award focus is on plant nutrient management.
▪ Applications are invited from Indian citizens whose thesis has been ‘accepted’ for the award of Ph.D. degree between April 2024 and March 2025, for work done in India.
▪ Research work must be original. It must have a direct bearing on applied aspects of agricultural production/management systems supporting efficiency and competitiveness.
▪ Published/accepted research papers in NAAS-listed journals will receive credit during evaluation.
